Bayelsa West Senatorial District Elections: Chief Seriake Dickson Greets Endorsement From His Clan Youths….
TRACKING____The candidate of the people’s democratic party PDP for the forthcoming Senatorial Bye-Elections in Bayelsa West Chief Hon Seriake Dickson gained a momentum of endorsement from his clan youths today, as they gathered in their numbers to reaffirm their unwavering support for his senate ambition.
The group known as Tarakiri Clan Youths Forum made the endorsement during a meeting which attendance was strictly on Representatives from all communites that made up the Tarakiri clan . The Tarakiri clan is one of the most largest clans in Niger Delta as its member communites cut across Sagbama, Southern Ijaw, Ekeremor LGAs in Bayelsa and Odual in River State all in Nigeria.
Senr Comr Jeremiah Perekeme Owoupele JP who is a former IYC spokesman worldwide, moved the motion for the adoption of Chief Henry Seriake Dickson and he was seconded by Comr Etolor Timi. Mr JP Owoupele in his words extolled the leadership qualities of their father and leader Chief Seriake Dickson whom he described as a worthy Tarakiri son who had represented the clan by drawing develpment to the clan while as Governor of Bayelsa state with the siting of Africa University Toru-orua, Polytechnic Aleibiri, Agge Seaport , Sagbama-to-Ekeremor road etc as some of the projects visible in Tarakiri communities that has improved economic activities and provision of job opportunities for sons and daughters in the clan hence, attracted the reason for all sons and daughters from Tarakiri clan irrespective of political party differences to adopt him as the sole candidate to go for the Senate believing also that he will do even more.
The meeting was equally attended by the clan leadership of IYC and the Tarakiri youth council as well as presidents of Sagbama and Ekeremor federated youth councils.
