Belgium: Nigerian forward bags third hat-trick for Gent
Nigeria forward, Gift Orban bagged a hat-trick as KAA Gent defeated Cercle Brugge 4-0 away at the Jan Breydelstadion on Saturday night.
It was Orban’s third hat trick since he linked up with the Belgian Pro League outfit from THE Norwegian second-division club, Staebek in January.
The young striker was on target in the 51st, 64th and 67th minutes respectively.
Hugo Jean-Marc Cuypers scored the other goal for the visitors.
Orban has now scored 14 goals in 13 league appearances for Hein Vanhaezebrouck’s side.
Gent is targeting a place in Europe this season.
