Bianca speaks as rumour trails Ojukwu’s son’s death
– Ojukwu’s son has been reported dead
– Debe was said to have died in a Lagos Hospital
– The Ojukwu’s family is yet to confirm the report
A son to the late dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu has been reported dead.
Debe Ojukwu was said to have died in the early hours of Saturday, November 3, at a Lagos hospital.
However, speaking on the matter Bianca, Ojukwu’s wife and stepmother to Debe said, she cannot confirm the death of the son of the late Igbo leader.
Punch reports that Bianca said it was not her duty to make announcements in the Ojukwu family.
According to her, Nnewi, their home town is guided by traditions and customs.
Bianca said: “According to our tradition, it is not my role to make such announcements. We have elders in the family, who have such duties and functions. It’s not part of my duties.”
Also, call to Emeka Ojukwu for a confirmation of the story were not picked.
Debe’s said was previously reported by 247report and some other online media organisation.
Meanwhile, TRACK NEWS previously reported that Bianca’s hope to represent the people of Anambra South senatorial district was dashed on Thursday, October 4, as Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu from Nnewi South local government area clinched the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ticket for the zone.
In the APGA primary held in the state, Bianca was floored along with another aspirant, Anselem Enyimba.
Legit.ng noted that Bianca, the wife of the late veteran warlord, Dim Ojukwu, was a former Nigerian ambassador to Spain.
