Binani Got N400m Contract For Printing Result Sheets 6 Months After She Became A Candidate – Ardo

The Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party for the Gubernatorial Election of Adamawa State, Umar Ardo, has stated that Binani got an undue advantage from the federal government in the Adamawa State election.
According to Umar Ardo, six months after Binani emerged as the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Adamawa State, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, awarded a N400 million contract to her.
Umar Ardo disclosed that the contract was the printing of Result Sheets for the Gubernatorial Election of some states in Nigeria (not Adamawa State). Umar Ardo went on to say that although the result sheets that Binani printed for INEC was not that of Adamawa State, it those not change the fact that she had access to INEC’s sensitive materials.
Umar Ardo revealed that he complained to INEC about the fact that the contract of printing result sheets will give an undue advantage to Binani, but INEC simply told him that Adamawa State is not part of the states Binani will print result sheets for.
Umar Ardo also said that INEC later came out and said that Binani’s was no longer a director at the company that was awarded the contract of printing the result sheets. However, Umar Ardo revealed that he knew when Binani opened the company. He also noted that the company’s name is registered in Binani’s name.
