Boko Haram attack: Army kills eight terrorists in Niger

At least eight suspected Boko Haram members were allegedly killed during an attack on Army Barracks in New Bussa, Borgu Local Government of Niger State.
It was gathered the gunmen stormed the barracks in an effort to rescue some of their members held in captivity.
Track News learnt the incident occurred on Saturday at about 12 midnight.
Eyewitness said during the attack eight were killed, apprehended while some of the military men sustained minor injuries.
“During the fight, the soldiers gave the terrorists a good fight. The Army called on the Air Force for assistance. They exchanged fire with the well armed Boko Haram members who came in their numbers to the barracks.
“Many of the Boko Haram members escaped with various degrees of injuries.
