..Konbowei appointed as patron

..As he calls for unity among members to foster development

The immediate past secretary to the government of Bayelsa State and the people Democratic Party PDP senatorial candidate for Bayelsa Central in the 2023 general elections Rt. Hon. Konbowei Benson, this evening attended the annual meeting of Bomo and Olodiama Committee of Friends at Tamara Hall, Otiotio road, Yenagoa, where he was appointed as one of its patrons.

The Bomo and Olodiama Committee of Friends is a Non governmental organization, formed by like minds to foster unity and development among member communities and Kingdoms.

Addressing the meeting, Konbowei called on members of the committee to put the unity and development of the both Clans as priority in their daily lives. Saying, only that can attract the needed development to the member communities and Kingdoms.

Bomo and Olodiama are Clans in Southern Ijaw local government area of Bayelsa State with some of the communities to include, Korokorosei, Olugbobiri, Ekowe, Opuama, Peremabiri, Eniwari, Fonibiri amongst others.
