BREAKING: Buhari appoints a new Postmaster General for NIPOST.

The appointment of a new Postmaster General/Chief Executive Officer (PMG) for the Nigerian Postal Service has been approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Hon Adepoju Adeyemi Sunday is a former House of Representatives member.
According to the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy’s spokeswoman, Uwa Suleiman, the appointment was made in response to Prof. Isa Pantami’s recommendations.
According to Suleiman’s statement, the new Postmaster General of NIPOST is appointed for a five-year term.
“Hon. Adepoju is a professional accountant and a former member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency from 2011 to 2015 and 2015 to 2019.
“NIPOST is an agency under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, and Hon. Adepoju’s appointment as the new PMG of NIPOST is effective immediately,” Suleiman said.
