Breaking: EFCC unfreezes Benue government accounts

The Benue state government says the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has unfrozen its bank accounts.
The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Samuel Ortom, Terver Akase, confirmed this to Channels Television in an interview on Thursday, August 9.
Recall that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had reportedly frozen the bank accounts belonging to the government of Benue state after it was said to have secured a court order for this.
The government’s accounts were frozen on the claim that Governor Samuel Ortom’s security vote was being investigated.
