BREAKING: Explosion rocks Rivers APC secretariat
The River State secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been rocked by explosions.
It was gathered that the incident happened a few hours before the commencement of long-awaited Local Government Council elections in the state.
According to sources, the secretariat located along the Aba Road in Port Harcourt was riddled by dynamites which shattered buildings and property in the area.
The explosion also created panic and confusion in the neighbourhood causing residents to scamper for safety.
The sources also stated that the explosion pulled down the gate of the building destroying several doors, windows and other valuable items.
