Breaking: Gov. Bala Mohammed Declares 2027 Presidential Ambition

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has officially announced his intention to run for the presidency in 2027. The declaration was made during the flag-off of the PDP campaign in Bauchi State ahead of the August 17th, 2024 elections.
In his announcement, Governor Mohammed criticized the administration of President Bola Tinubu, accusing it of causing widespread hunger and hardship across the country. He remarked that if the current administration continues its trajectory, President Tinubu would unwittingly become his campaign director in 2027
Governor Mohammed also highlighted the significance of the #EndBadGovernance protest, describing it as a “big wake-up call” for northern leaders to deliver good governance. He criticized President Tinubu’s response to the protest as empty and failing to address the nation’s pressing issues.
