BREAKING: Keyamo Apologises, Screened by Senate After move to Suspend his Ministerial Screening

The Senate has successfully screened Festus Keyamo, a ministerial nominee, after he apologized for ignoring senate summons while serving as minister in Buhari’s administration.
TrackNews Media reports that Keyamo was summoned by the Senate in 2021 to clarify matters pertaining to a Special Public Works programme, but he failed to honour the invitation.
He also faced accusations of levelling allegations of corruption against the previous administration.
However, Keyamo apologized for his actions during his screening on Monday.
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, accepted Keyamo’s apology, and the nominee was then asked to take a bow and go.
