Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari said in a statement on Friday that he won’t rest until Nigerians are relieved, TrackNews reports.
Mr. Buhari, who is currently in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, stated that he is aware of the difficulties that Nigerians are currently experiencing due to insecurity and the high cost of living.
“I am quite aware of the difficulties people are facing and am working to resolve them,” said the President.
Buhari stated this in his message to Nigerians in honor of Eid-el-Kabir.
Garba Shehu, a senior Presidential spokesman, said in a statement that Mr. Buhari is working to find a solution to the people’s current hardship.
Insecurity has risen across Nigeria following the attack on one of the country’s most secure prisons, Kuje, by a reformed ISWAP terrorist group.
Despite being an oil-producing country, the rising cost of food and fuel scarcity have exacerbated the country’s problems.
