Buhari hints on what he has done for Tinubu’s government to succeed in oil sector

As the Nigeria International Energy Summit 2023 commenced, President Muhammadu Buhari has said following his government’s achievements in the oil and gas sector, he has provided the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu the springboard to success.
Buhari disclosed this on Monday at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, while declaring the NIES 2023 open in Abuja.
He said this year’s edition of the summit was to showcase the scorecard of his administration in oil and gas.
Buhari, represented by Mr Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), said he achieved so much in the oil and gas sector, benefiting private establishments.
“Our perspectives have provided the incoming government with the tools to guide Nigeria’s energy future. I urge industry stakeholders to give the incoming administration the support and cooperation I received from you,” he said.
The Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), passed into Law by Buhari, remained the second most significant achievement in the energy sector
