Buhari medical tip: HURIWA warns Nigerians about APC’s Bola Tinubu

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Nigerians have been warned that if the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu is elected in 2023, he will be no different from President Muhammadu Buhari.
HURIWA, the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, issued the warning in response to President Buhari’s recent medical trip to the United Kingdom.
They claimed that the President’s most recent medical examination in the United Kingdom reveals a lot about two major national issues in Nigeria.
The group also chastised the President for failing to keep his campaign promise to end medical tourism in Nigeria, instead spending over 200 days on foreign medical trips with public funds.
On Monday, October 31, 2022, Buhari left for London for a routine medical check-up, and HURIWA warned that Nigeria should never again elect someone who is medically unfit to govern.
According to the rights advocacy group, the APC presidential candidate has demonstrated beyond doubt that he is medically unfit.
The group claimed it was unfathomable that, prior to the campaigns, Bola Ahmed Tinubu had traveled to London, France, and the United States five times for alleged medical tours.
“With few weeks to the end of his first term in office, President Buhari has spent a total of 404 days (a year and 39 days) traveling to 33 countries on four continents in about four years of his first term in office, as captured by a recent media report,” HURIWA said in a statement signed by Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko.
