Buhari orders Nigerian army to wipe out terrorist with immediate effect- see details

By Ibekimi Oriamaja
President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerian military officers to confront and eliminate terrorists.
Buhari made the remarks in Kaduna State while honoring the Nigerian military’s sacrifices and victories in valiantly defending the country and urging them to bring peace to the country.
On Thursday, Buhari addressed 247 students at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College in Jaji, promising that his administration would continue to provide the necessary support to eradicate terrorists from Nigeria.
“Among other things,” Buhari told the graduating students, “the Armed Forces of Nigeria’s response to the Boko Haram insurgency, banditry, militancy, kidnapping, and the activities of separatists and armed militias has been commendable.”
Recent terrorist attacks in Nigeria bear the hallmarks of national and transnational insurgents seeking to devastate Nigeria and its neighbors.
“Confronting these terrorists and insurgents, annihilating them, and bringing peace to our countries will be part of your duty.”
