Cash crisis: More security operatives deployed to CBN, banks in Kaduna

Following the earlier warning by the Kaduna State Government that it has received credible reports of some misguided individuals trying to cause confusion in the state, security operatives have been deployed to the Central Bank of Nigeria, commercial banks and strategic places in the state.
Although it was not confirmed when the additional security operatives, military armoured vehicles were deployed in some strategic locations of the state, Track News observed the presence of additional fierce-looking security operatives as early as 6:30am.
As early as 7:00am, customers flooded several commercial banks across the state, waiting for 8:00am when bank staff were due to resume.
As at the time of filing this report, the state was peaceful, with residents transacting their normal businesses
