Championship: Iheanacho is keen on Leicester City return to Premier League

Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho has made it clear that his focus is on Leicester City’s promotion, and he has decided to ignore all the transfer speculations.
Former Golden Eaglets attacker is one of the players touted to be on his way out of the King Power Stadium after the team suffered relegation last season.
But the player has confirmed that despite having one year left on his contract, the Nigerian International insists that the club promotion remained his priority.
“When you have less time left at the football club, a year or two, there are speculations and rumours that you want to stay or you want to leave and all that.
“I like Leicester City, it’s a good place, a good football club and I’ve been here for a few years now.
“We went down, it’s not ideal but we’re here now and we’re fighting to get back up.
“I’m here focusing on my football with Leicester City and hopefully we get back up and everyone will be happy”, he stated.
