Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly lining up mega £95 million deal to sign Italy international Nicolo Barella and Paris-Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani this month.
The Stamford Bridge landlords are currently occupying fourth position on the Premier League standings and have also qualified for the fourth round of the 2019 English FA Cup.
But according to the report on Metro, Chelse gaffer Maurizio Sarri is currently not satisfied with the form of Alvaro Morata and Giroud and wants more attacking players during the transfer
Edinson Cavani has scored a staggering 183 goals in 262 appearances for PSG in the last five years and Sarri believes he is the ideal man to lead the line for Chelsea.
The Blues also want to sign attacking midfielder Nicolo Barella as replacement for Spanish star Cesc Fabregas who is on the verge of joining French club Monaco.
Fabregas is expected to have a reunion with his former teammate at Arsenal Thierry Henry who is now the boss at Monaco.
Earlier, TRACKNEWS.NG had reported how Premier League giants Chelsea completed the signing of 20-year-old American football star Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund for £58 million.
But the winger who had been linked to Liverpool will be loaned back to the Bundesliga side until the end of the ongoing League season in Europe.
Chelsea have beaten a number of Premier League clubs to the signing and the winger will join Maurizio Sarri’s men in the summer.
