Chelsea superstar Cesc Fabregas has reportedly emerged as a January transfer target for Monaco coach Thierry Henry who wants to have a reunion with his ex teammate at Arsenal.

The Spanish footballer is said to be currently unhappy at Stamford Bridge due to lack of active playing time and could be on his way out of the club.

Cesc Fabregas has six months left on his current deal with Chelsea and he wants more active games this season.

And according to the report by L’Equipe, Thierry Henry wants Cesc Fabregas to help his team who are currently placed 19th on the Ligue 1 standings.

Monaco are desperate for midfield reinforcements after selling Fabinho, Joao Moutinho, Thomas Lemar and Tiemoue Bakayoko over the last two summer transfer windows.

Cesc Fabregas and Thierry Henry spent three years together at Arsenal between 2004-2007 before the Frenchman left for a move to Spanish club Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Italian club AC Milan are also said to be interested in signing Fabregas when the January transfer window opens.

Previously, TRACKNEWS.NG had reported how Italian League giants AC Milan are reportedly plotting to sign three Chelsea stars on loan in January 2019.

The Serie A representatives have already met with Blues chief Marina Granovskaia in a bid to sign Cesc Fabregas, Gary Cahill and Andreas Christensen.
