CHIEF (HON) KIA NIGERIA PRESENTS 2020 BUDGET BEFORE THE SILGA LEGISLATIVE ARM
TRACKING_______In compliance with the statutory laws of Council, the Executive Chairman of Southern Ijaw LGA, Chief (Hon) Kia Ebidoughebofa Nigeria, today presented the Annual Appropriation Budget for the year 2020 before the Legislative Arm for consideration and passage.
Chief Kia said at the presentation that the proposed budget that would set the needed template for the execution of projects and proper administration of the LGA for the actualization of the vision for the year.
The total estimated budget is pegged at N3.7 billion, out of which N2.1 billion is for recurrent expenditure while capital expenditure is N1.6 billion for the 2020 fiscal year.
The Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Woniowei Mark Emmanuel, commended the chairman for the presentation and assured him of the cooperation of the house in the speedy passage of the budget to help government fast track its developmental projects in the LGA.
The Executive Chairman, Chief (Hon) Kia Ebidoughebofa Nigeria, equally carried out the monthly transparency briefing for the month of January at his office in Oporoma, headquarters of the LGA.
