Mr. Ade Yesufu, Exhibition Manager, Energy Portfolio, Middle East and Africa, Informa Markets, revealed the program’s specifics at a press conference in Lagos. He stated that the three-day event would take place in Lagos from September 20 to 22, 2022, with over 3000 attendees and over 100 exhibitors from 21 countries anticipated.

He claimed that in order for Nigeria’s electricity sector to compete worldwide and have sustainable growth, it was urgently in need of technical modernization and digitalization.
The first stage, according to Yesufu, would be to draw important local and foreign investors who would engage in discussions with other stakeholders and look for workable solutions to the problems facing the energy sector.

“With Nigerian energy, we will accomplish this. The ninth edition will advance these discussions and provides a forum for reflecting on some of the changes that the electricity sector is experiencing internationally, he said.
The energy conference, sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Power, is said to be the largest gathering of energy specialists in Africa and will feature prominent, cutting-edge power enterprises.
