Chieftain mobilizes support for APC presidential candidate

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Rear Admiral Ilesanmi Alade (rtd), the party’s chieftain, has begun rallying support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
Alade, in particular, launched the Democratic Network for Asiwaju/Shettima (DNA) at Akure’s Sita Hall in Ondo State.
The group was formed in 2018 to mobilize for the re-election of Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, in 2020, according to the former Commandant of National Defence College (NDC) in Abuja, and it delivered on the mandate.
He stated that the group had been restructured to drive greater mobilization for Tinubu’s candidacy, assuring that DNA was well rooted in Ondo State’s 18 local governments.
“On September 20, the national body of our party headed by Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu approved the campaign group to serve as a support group and to ensure that our activities are in synergy with the party’s guidelines and constitution,” he said.
Alade stated that the group would canvass and persuade voters to vote for the APC’s presidential candidate.
“At this time, I’d like to congratulate all executive members who were inaugurated today.”
“Your ancestors led to your nomination, and I am confident that the Democratic Networks for Asiwaju/Shettima DNA will reach the promised land with you…
“Let me be clear: DNA will not operate independently of the APC-created guidelines and command structure,” he said.
Oladesu Oladipo, National Coordinator of the Next-Level Consolidation Forum, has stated that the forum is committed to the campaign to elect the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
He made the remarks while visiting the Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja with Southwest leaders of the Next-Level Consolidation Forum (NLCF).
According to him, the NLCF is involved and committed to Tinubu’s presidency succeeding, and that the Tinubu/Shetima administration will bring Next-Level prosperity to all Nigerians, regardless of creed, tribe, or tongue.
“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is being eulogised today as the architect of good governance in Lagos State,” he said, highlighting the impact of Tinubu’s leadership. The great man among great men, the leader who laid the groundwork for his successors to follow today, and the governor who increased Lagos State’s monthly internal generated revenue from N600 million to N30 billion.
“It is our hope that Asiwaju Tinubu will win the election and become Nigeria’s president.”
He pledged the NLCF’s determination to mobilize Nigerians in support of Tinubu’s victory.
“We will mobilize from door to door, canvassing for Asiwaju Tinubu/Kassim Shettima as president and vice president,” he said.
