Chike has a captivating, emotional voice, says Simi
Singer Simi has gushed over colleague Chike’s sonorous and melodic voice.
She said his voice is captivating his voice, adding that it is laden with emotions.
The mother of one stated this in a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos.
In 2021, Chike and Simi collaborated on a love song and gave fans a hit titled: ‘Running To You’
Simi said the ‘Boo of The Booless’ crooner was full of gratitude to her for the collaboration.
She said: “I actually love Chike’s voice so much. There is so much emotions his voice carries. When he wanted to do the song ‘Running To You’ I don’t even think I was around. He sent it to me. He already had a version of the song on his album but I hadn’t heard the album at the time. And when I sent the version, I was like, ‘This is so beautiful.’
“I was so happy to do it. Funny thing is that I’ve done quite a number of features but he Chike was just very appreciative. He kept showing how appreciative he is, and I really liked that”.
