China to support Nigeria on ICT, digital economy

TRACKING >The Chinese government has expressed its commitment to enhancing exchanges and co-operation with Nigeria.
This, according to it, will be concentrated on sharing good practice in each other’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) development and seizing the opportunity presented by the digital economy to encourage companies to carry out co-operation in ICT infrastructure.

The Chinese Ambassador, Zhou Pingjian, disclosed this yesterday in Abuja at the closing/award ceremony of the Huawei ICT for 1,000 civil servants training programme in Nigeria.He said his country would work together to narrow the digital divide and promote the building of an information society in both countries.
