Cocodia, Capt. Karimo, Traditional Rulers Storm Patani for Kabu-Seigbein Festival

Immediate past Special Adviser to the Bayelsa State Governor on Political Matters, High Chief Collins Cocodia , joined all other sons and daughters of Kabowei Kingdom to mrk this year’s Kabu-Seigbein Cultural Festival, in Patani, Delta State, on Saturday.
High Chief Cocodia, who was the vice chairman of the committee, in his welcome remarks, commended the people of Kabowei for their massive turnout and contributions towards the event.
This is as he described Kabowei Kingdom as a unique kingdom, with lots of historical and cultural background, urging the people to continue to nurture it so that future generations will also uphold it.
In his royal remarks, the Chief Host, His Royal Majesty, Barr. Shedrach P. Erebulu, Aduo |||, the Pere of Kabowei Kingdom, said the festival is to herald the well endowed cultural heritage of the kingdom , hence it was necessary to showcase their way of life to the world.
The Okru Pre-Agbe, extended his appreciation to all the communities under the Kingdom which cut across both Delta and Bayelsa states, as well the council of chiefs, elders, women and youth groups for their support and participation,.as he prayed for continuous peaceful coexistence amongst the Kingdom, the States and the country at large.

Chairman of the occasion, the Rt Hon. Emomotimi Guo, Speaker Delta House of Assembly, in his goodwill message, commended the Kingdom for sustaining and preserving their culture, as it would help foster their unity.
HRM King Dr Owoupele Danaladi, MD PHd, the Ebenanaowei of Tarakiri Kingdom Delta State, the Obi of Isele-Uku Kingdom, mnse JP, His Royal Majesty, King Agbogidi Obi Nduka, the Ibenanaowei of Gbarain Kingdom im Bayelsa State, His Royal Majesty, King Funpere Akah, the Ama-Pere of Trofani Community in Sagbama, Bayelsa State, His Highness, King Davian Hycinth, among several Traditional Rulers attended the event.
President General of Kabowei Development Union, Captain Karimo Matthew, Izon Ladies Association in Great Britain, were also present and gave their goodwill.messages.
