Commissioner For Agriculture And Natural Resources Visits School To Land Authority To Inspect Properties Vandalized By Hoodlums (See Photos)
YENAGOA_____The honourable commissioner for Agriculture and Natural resources Hon. David Ayebatonye Alagoa earlier today led management of the ministry of Agriculture and Natural resources to inspect properties vandalised by hoodlums recently at the School To Land Premises, Imiringi road, Yenagoa.
The Hon. Commissioner who was accompanied by the permanent secretary, Mightyman Aye Dikuro, the head of human resource department, Agulata Geoffrey Charles, Dr. Emara Ibegu, HOD Vertinary/Livestock department and other staff of the ministry expressed dissatisfaction at the level destruction and properties carted away from the premises.
While taking the Honourable commissioner and his team round the premises, the programme manager Mr Adeh Godwin stated some of the challenges they are facing which includes Security, perimeter fencing, lack of equipment, staff quarters and inadequate maintenance of available equipments.
The Comissioner in his response assured that Government will take adequate steps to ensure there is security to protect Government properties and to prevent further reoccurrence and also ministy’s readiness to give all necessary support to ensure the School to Land authority is fully operational and hinted that food security center will soon be established at the premises.
