The immediate past Spokesman of the Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) Worldwide, cum National Leader of the New Era Movement, Comrade Ebilade Ekerefe, accompanied the Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District,
His Excellency, Sen. 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 as he gave out financial support to over 750 Bayelsa students and additional 8-milion naira to law students, through his Henry Seriake Dickson Foundation.

Comrade Ebilade Ekerefe in his speech, commended Sen. 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻 for the financial grant to support students across the various tertiary institutions in the eight (8) local government area’s of the state with special reference to first class students. He said that there’s no better ways to support the human capital index of our state than what the Seriake Dickson Foundation is doing and encouraged beneficiaries to take advantage od the support giving to them. He called on leaders of the state and the Ijaw nation to emulate this gesture by investing massively in human capital development of our youths.

Comr. Ekerefe equally attended the burial ceremony of Late Mommy Catherine Dumbo, mother to Barr Alex Dunbo, former Deputy Chief of staff deputy governor’ office who died at age 80. He sympathized with the bereaved family members and encouraged them to have the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss of their beloved mother who left beautiful legacies during her time on earth.
