Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

Ibadan eight days after Oba Abdulganiyy Ologunebi, Aseyin of Iseyin, died, there was concern about the health of Oba Rafiu Mustapha, Onjo of Okeho, who was said to have joined his ancestors.

The monarch, who had been hospitalized in Ibadan for more than ten days, was said to have returned to Okeho a few days ago after being hospitalized for more than ten days.

“Baba is ill, and I believe he is recovering,” a source told Track News, adding that “he recently returned from the hospital, and he hasn’t been attending to people or going to functions because he needs to rest.”

According to a reliable palace source, movement into the palace was prohibited, and “people were seen hanging around the palace to ascertain the rumour being spread about his health status.”

I’m still alive, Onjo.

Meanwhile, in response to reports of his death, the monarch stated in a viral online report that he is alive and not dead, as previously reported.

“Truly, I was sick, and I was admitted to the University College Hospital in Ibadan on July 18th and stayed there until Sunday, July 24th, the day Aseyin died,” he explained.

“I had no idea he was also in the hospital.” I found out later, on the second day, that he had died.

“As a result, doctors have been treating me well, and I’ve responded well to treatment since returning home.” “I’m in good health, I’m alive, and I intend to live a long time,” the monarch declared.
