Court Judgement: If They Say There Is A Rerun, I Doubt If Tinubu Can Make It – Ambassador Aminu Wali
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Aminu Wali, has said that if the court call for a rerun election between Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the opposition, he is doubting if the president will survive.
It would be recalled that the opposition parties, the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party have filed a petition against INEC and Asiwaju at the presidential election petition tribunal.
Speaking during an exclusive interview with the Sun paper, Wali said Tinubu has already taken some decisions that will count against him if rerun is going to hold.
According to him, many Nigerians are not happy about the fuel subsidy removal because of the hardship they are witnessing under Tinubu’s Administration.
Hear him “But this is why I am saying Tinubu made a mistake by removing the subsidy even before he knows what the effect is going to be. It is now that he is seeing what the effect is. If today we go for an election, if they say there is a rerun, I doubt if he can make it.” Sun paper quoted Wali as saying.
