In the words of Chief Ayebaemi Edoghotu-Asuku. Honorable, we received the food items and other palliatives you sent to us in good condition. We thank you very much for knowing the needs of your people at this critical period in the history of the world. We are very happy for your day to day awareness to us on the need to obey the directives of the state government on this oyibo people sickness. These are the reasons why we always say people who grew and has served the rural people in one way or the other should represent us at the state and national level. Our conscience are blaming us by thanking you on phone for your kind gesture towards us that’s why we decided to come and thank you physically. On behalf of the entire Mini Ikensi Oluasiri people I once more thank you for your kind gesture and I am also using this medium to assure you that as traditional rulers and leaders of our various communities we are not sleeping. We stand to enforce any directive giving by the state government and NCDC till this oyibo people sickness is over.

Responding, Hon. Douglas Sampson thank them for their show of appreciation. He jokingly advised them to be vigilant on who come into there various communities especially those from outside the country and state. In his words, in those days the obodo oyibo people use to be afraid of our communities but now we are afraid of them because we can’t take any chance to oyibo man sickness which we don’t know where it is coming from. Report to me if you notice anybody coming from obodo oyibo to your communities. He further reassured them for his support to them when ever they are in need and advised them to adhere to the directives of the state government and NCDC.
