COVID -19: Unilorin screens 4 returning international students

TRACKING_____The University of Ilorin says it has screened four returning international students to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the institution.
Chairperson of the Unilorin Coronavirus Prevention Committee, Dr. Idayat Adurotoye, confirmed this on Thursday in Ilorin.
Adurotoye said that three of the students were Ghanaians while one was a Chadian.
She said this was part of the university’s proactive measures to ensure the international students are free from the virus. However, she explained that the test results were yet to be released.
“Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, the committee has put in place preventive mechanism to ensure no incident is recorded,” Adurotoye added.
The chairperson explained that the committee has also made provision to distribute hand sanitizers and other preventive kits in the institution.
She urged members of the university community to ensure they observe high level of environmental hygiene
