COVID-19 vaccine jab was not painful – VP, Osinbajo

Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday, said he did not feel pain when the Astra-Zeneca COVID-19 vaccine was administered on him.
TrackNews Online recalls that President Muhammadu Buhari and his Deputy, Osinbajo got vaccinated with the Astra-Zeneca COVID-19 vaccine at the Presidential Villa on Saturday following the launch of the vaccination exercise by frontline health workers on Friday.
According to tweets by the VP’s Spokesperson, Mr. Laolu Akande, the vaccine was administered on Osinbajo by his personal physician, Dr. Nicholas.
“We should all take turns when the time comes to get the happy jabs!
“Why did I say happy jabs? Well first & foremost it’s the beginning of the ending of this year-long pandemic or so we hope.
“Secondly, VP says right after the jab by Dr. Nic, his Personal Physician “the thing was not painful at all. I didn’t even feel the pinch.” That’s Happy!” Akande tweeted.
