Cowrie FM founder, Thomas Willy is dead

According to Premium Times, Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) President, Lanre Ogundipe confirmed the demise of the broadcaster who was in his 70’s.

Mr Thomas was said to have died while being rushed to the hospital, following a sudden health challenge.
Daily Times reports that, Mr Thomas after working in Radio Germany returned some years ago to establish a community radio station, Cowrie FM, in Ogun State.
Meanwhile the Cowrie urban radio 97.5 which focuses on investment potentials, business enlightenment , business opportunities for local traders have successfully introduced programms like ‘Alajapa’ the hub for food production in southwest Nigeria.
