Crime in sex with partner, Police DSP Edafe educate Nigerians.
By Ibekimi Oriamaja
DSP Bright Edafe, the Delta State Police Command’s spokesperson, has educated Nigerians on the crime of rape.
He emphasized that if a partner withdraws consent in the middle of a sexual encounter, the other person’s persistent penetration is deemed rape.
He threatened the culprit with a 14-year prison sentence.
Edafe reminded his Twitter fans this morning.
“Are you aware that if any party withdraws consent during sex, you must stop?” he said. Further penetration constitutes rape, and the perpetrator faces life in prison if found guilty…… “Law ignorance is not an excuse.”
