Crisis In PDP Is Creation Of APC, They Want Us To Be In Disarray – Gov Mohammed

Before the 2015 elections, many PDP top guns led by Kojoli left the party because GEJ who was an incumbent president got the party’s ticket which is normal everywhere party politics is being played.
But because Kojoli and his team felt that power should shift to the north after GEJ had completed Yar’adua’s term after his death and got his own term, Kojoli in particular should be next. Some of them went to court to stop GEJ from running.
They said that the drafters of the constitution did not mean that one person could be sworn in as president three times which would be the case if GEJ was allowed to contest and won.
The court properly ruled that completing the tenure of another person isn’t same as running your own government.
Kojoli, Saraki, Amaechi, Dogara, Kwankwaso etc left PDP.
The party became an orphan to the delight of people like me.
But some leaders like Wike, Fayose etc stayed back.
APC won and the nPDP got the Senate Presidency and the House of Reps Speakership after Saraki had manipulated the Senate rule and spent the night before inauguration in his car in the national assembly complex.
The national assembly which they headed became a clog in the wheel of progress of Buhari administration in his entire first term.
They even became budget kidnappers. They almost succeeded in completely paralysing that government but we have forgotten so soon.
They were later sent out of the party and they all returned to the home they had left for only Wike and a few other faithful party leaders.
In their absence, Wike in particular stood firm for the party.
He brought Secondus as the party’s chairman but when Kojoli and others returned, Secondus became an Atiku man.
In 2019, immediately after they returned, Wike chose to openly support Tambuwal and because he was still the main man, he was able to bring their convention that would produce their presidential election to Port Harcourt but after all he did for Tambuwal, the man who has been contesting since the time of MKO Abiola won the ticket.
In 2023, Wike felt rightly that after fPMB eight years, it should be the turn of the south and so he threw into the ring his hat.
While it was not and it is still not compulsory that anyone must win his party’s ticket, seeing the same Tambuwal from Sokoto state coming for the second time to the podium to step down for Atiku from Adamawa and a man from Plateau, another northern state, who was the party’s chairman who should appear to be neutral calling Tambuwal hero of democracy for stepping down for Atiku when every men of conscience felt that a southerner should be next caused the problem PDP is facing today.
There are of course other factors, but the scenario stated above is the foundation of their crisis and it is unresolvable.
Dino that lifted and almost fell Tambuwal tgae day in his usual uncontrollable elation has been suspended from the party without the input of APC.
Bringing Sim under Kojoli to tackle Wike from home has failed as Wike won the state congress of PDP in Rivers.
Governor Fintiri two days ago also said that Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe and Yobe state PDP are all behind Damagun.
Atiku has a man he wants to support against someone Fintiri prefers.
How then is APC responsible for the division in Adamawa for instance?
Governor Makinde has declared that the Damagun leadership is okay and the court has also ruled that he can’t be removed.
Bala, how is APC responsible for the crisis in PDP?
