DANA Air Will Resumpt Flights Months After Suspension

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Dana Air has announced that it will resume flight operations on November 9th, months after it was suspended.
According to Track News, Dana’s Chief Operating Officer, Ememobong Ettete, announced this on Friday in a statement.
Remember that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) suspended Dana Air four months ago for multiple regulatory violations, but the airline revealed that the NCAA audit was successfully completed.
“We are pleased to announce that we will resume flight operations on November 9th, having successfully completed an audit organized by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority,” the airline said in a statement (NCAA).
“The audit was a re-engineering and restructuring process for us, and we successfully completed the audit, and an extensive one at that, for the second time.”
“With a new management team fully in charge, we are now well positioned despite the current challenges and hostile economic environment, and we are concentrating fully on strengthening our operations efficiently for sustainable growth while continuing to offer safe, reliable, and exciting flying experiences to our loyal guests.”
“As a proudly Nigerian brand with Nigerians at the helm of affairs and over 14 years service to the Nigerian flying public, we remain eternally grateful to our customers, travel partners, clients, and vendors for remaining faith with us while the audit was ongoing, and we would never take your loyalty and support for granted as it means a lot to us.”
Dana Air praised the NCAA for the meticulous audit process and the inspectors’ professionalism.
“This audit has repositioned us as a vibrant and resilient brand, which has worked out really well for us and the industry as a whole.” This is also strongly advised for all domestic airlines for the sake of the industry,” the statement continued.
