December: Lagos govt to jail sellers of adulterated, expired products

The Lagos State Government is going tough on business owners and manufacturers selling adulterated and expired products ahead of the December rush.
General Manager, Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA), Afolabi Solebo advised consumers to be cautious.
The official spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria Track News.
Solebo said the authorities were aware that ember months are when some people sell products that are about to expire or already expired.
“This is the time they will start doctoring the manufacture date and expiry date.”
Solebo said goods found to be adulterated would be confiscated while the perpetrators would face the law
