Delta Police arrest Indian for allegedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl.

Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
The Delta Police Command has arrested an Indian, Gange, for allegedly sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl (name withheld) in Asaba, Delta State’s capital.
Track News has learned that the girl was allegedly sexually abused on Sunday, and that the incident devastated the teenager, who is currently in pain.
Mr. P. Chigozie, the victim’s uncle, said the Indian called on his niece on Sunday morning to help him with cooking and other domestic issues.
“Two of my nieces just finished the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, and instead of staying at home, they went to look for jobs,” he explained.
“They went to the company ‘Wonder Pack’ along the Onitsha-Asaba Expressway, and the company offered them cleaning jobs as the only vacant jobs available, as well as telling them that they will assist them in cooking as needed.”
“On Sunday morning, one of the Indian bosses, Mr. Gange, summoned my niece to the company to assist in purchasing items from the market and cooking because they were staying in the company’s lodge.”
“My niece arrived around 9:00 a.m., and we waited for her until 6:00 p.m.” We tried her phone number after not hearing from her, but it was disconnected.
“Around 7:00 p.m., my family members moved to the company; however, when we arrived at the gate, the police officers refused us entry, claiming that our sister was not present.”
“We left and reported the incident to the police station, but the officers told us to go home and wait until Monday morning to see if the girl would return.”
“She called us in the middle of the night, and when we arrived, we saw the police officer who had previously denied knowledge of my niece’s presence, pushing her naked and pale.”
“When my niece arrived that Sunday morning, her boss offered her a drink and complimented her on her previous hard work.” She said she didn’t remember anything else after drinking until 4:00 a.m., when she saw herself inside the wardrobe.”
According to Mr. Chigozie, the family alerted the police, who stormed the company and arrested the Indian.
When contacted, the Command’s spokesperson, Bright Edafe, stated that the suspect had been apprehended.
“We won’t know whether he did it or not until the investigation is finished,” he said.
