Demola Seriki, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, will be laid to rest today

Demola Seriki, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, died on Thursday at the age of 63.
Track News previously reported that Seriki’s death was confirmed in a statement made available to journalists by his children.
Seriki died in the early hours of Thursday in Madrid, Spain, according to reports.
Meanwhile, the remains of Nigeria’s ambassador to Spain, who died in Madrid, will be laid to rest at the Ikoyi Vaults and Gardens today (Saturday).
Seriki’s family said in a burial plan released on Friday that his body will leave Madrid, Spain for Nigeria.
Seriki’s soul will be laid to rest at his residence, 1b, Jalupon Close, off Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere, Lagos.
Prayers will be held at 17, Oyinkan Abayomi, Queens Drive, Ikoyi, following the funeral at Ikoyi Vaults.
Seriki, who was born on November 30, 1959, was a Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain.
He was a Minister of State for Defence once.
As Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, he also served as Nigeria’s permanent representative to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
