Destruction of Nigeria will not come from Ndigbo – MASSOB
The Movement for The Actualization Of The Sovereign State Of Biafra, MASSOB, on Tuesday said the destruction of Nigeria will not come from Ndigbo.
MASSOB commended Ndigbo for coming out en masse to vote for the candidate of their choice at last Saturday’s presidential election.
The group, however, warned the national chairman of the Independent National electoral commission, INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu to be careful.
The leadership of MASSOB made this known in a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State, through its National Director of Information, Edeson Samuel.
The statement reads in part: “The non-violence principle of MASSOB should not be taken for granted. The youths of Nigeria must not allow evil to overcome good.
“MASSOB will now move from non-violence to self-defence because it is very clear that Ndigbo are not needed in Nigeria.
“We advised our people to go out and vote just to prove to those who believed in Nigeria that Nigeria never need them (Ndigbo).
“Ndigbo can no longer be treated as slaves, because of their belief. Shops and businesses of our people have been destroyed. Some were killed in Lagos by Tinubu’s foot soldiers because they voted for the candidate of their choice
