Diri developmental stride earning him second term ~ Ekisah

The Honourable Commissioner for Special Projects, Hon. High Chief Ekisah Sinkumo describe Governor Diri as the best product for Bayelsa at a moment saying Douye Diri’s developmental stride as second to none in the entire Country.

Ekisah stated this when he appeared on a TrackNews Live TV Programme “Prosperity Hour”.

The Commisisoner who highlighted the achievement of the Prosperity Administration said the people oriented projects the Gov has done and is still doing, such as the completion of the Glory Drive phase II, completion of the Imirigi-AIT section of the Igbogene- AIT Ring Road, expansion and beautification of the Etegwe Roundabout which has eradicated criminals element from that axis of Yenagoa, completion of Ernest Ikoli Media House and equipping all State Media outlet with world class facilities, completion of Sagbama-Ekeremo road, the ongoing Yenagoa-Oporoma road, ongoing Nembe-Brass road, completion of eight Technical Schools across the 8 LGA, Completion of Igbedi road, the Elebele bridge, Nembe Unity Bridge Aguobiri bridge, construction and completion of over 50 internal roads within Yenagoa, and lots more.

The Commissioner pointed out the improvement of the Bayelsa Health Insurance Scheme by expanding the scheme to all Bayelsans apart from Civil Servants, using drones to conveying drugs from the State Drugs Distribution Center to the interland of the state and the rehabilitation of various health care center in the State and all there.

On area of Power, the Commissioner point said Bayelsa low pace of paying light bill is one of the challenges, but in recent time power has improved in so many areas due to the governor’s approach.

On the Economy Diversification of the state, Hon. Ekisah said the Governor has been supporting Small Scale Businesses to ease the burden of Government and to reduce the unemployment rates and creating jobs in the private sector.

Talking about the Transparency of Diri’s Administration, Ekisah stated that for all the projects embarked on, the Governor has demonstrated high level of the rule of law by giving proper account of inflow and outflow of every money of the State as the State Transparency Law stated and that every project embarked upon by this Government is on the public domain.

According to the Commissioner for Special Projects, with Governor Diri, no project is impossible or unachievable as far Bayelsans are in dire need of it.

Hon. Ekisah Sinkumo added that some persons once said Nembe road and Nembe-Brass road are not economically viable but Nembe road is economically viable which the Prosperity administration of Governor Douye Diri has embarked on.
