Diri is best for Bayelsa State – Igali
The Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Chief Baraladei Daniel Igali has described Governor Douye Diri as the best in Nigeria due to his developmental stride most especially in Sports Development.
Chief Igali stated this when he appeared on a TrackNews Tv 📺 Programme “Prosperity Hour”.
The Commisisoner who highlighted the achievement of the Prosperity Administration in Sports and that it has surpassed all previous administrations.
The Commissioner pointed out that for the first time in the history of the Federation Cup in Nigeria, Bayelsa State won the male and female trophy the same day and the same venue and that Bayelsa Queens also won the league and went away to Cote d’ Ivoire and also clinched the WAFU Zone-B CAF Women Champions qualifiers, went to Morocco and came third in Africa
He said it was in this administration that Bayelsa State came second at the National Sports Festival surpassing the fourth position when Governor Douye Diri was Commissioner for Sports in 2006, owing to the passion he has for infrastructural development.
According to Chief Igali, Governor Diri has invested more in sports that is why they are getting the desired results.
The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development said, with Governor Diri, no project is impossible or unachievable and urged Bayelsans to give Governor Douye Diri and his deputy Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo another chance of leading them and added that with what the Prosperity administration has done as he has touched all facets of the State, will be difficult for any administration to surpass it.
