DPO kidnapped In Edo State, Abductors Demand N50million Ransom

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Fugar Police Division, Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq has been abducted by kidnappers.
www.tracknews.ng understands that the police officer who was escorted by his orderly was abducted on the Auchi-Agenebode road in Edo State on Friday, the orderly, however, escaped.
CSP Ishaq who formerly worked at the Dakata Police Station in Kano State was recently transferred to Edo State a few days ago.
According to Vanguard, he was coming from Agenebode to Fugar and he passed through Ekperi Road where he was abducted.
The news platform reported that he was kidnapped but his orderly escaped and the kidnappers have made contact this morning and they are demanding N50m. The incident happened around 6;30 pm on Friday.
This year, several Nigerian police stations have been attacked, especially in southern Nigeria, where their stations have been set on fire and their weapons confiscated.
