Dr. Remember Ogbe bags UN-POLAC Mayor of Peace Award and International Appointment.

Service is the bedrock of recognition and peace is fundamental to the growth and development of any society.

Dr. Remember Ogbe has exemplified this truth as he bags another award and also appointed as international Peace Advocate.

The United Nations Positive Livelihood Award Center (UN-POLAC) an international autonomous institution with the mandate to enhance the effectiveness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and UNESCO culture of peace project, particularly the maintenance of peace and security and the restoration of human dignity.

While Awarding Dr. Remember Ogbe, UN-POLAC described him as a lover of peace. Having done a background check on his land mark antecedence when he was Southern _Ijaw Local Government boss_ and the role he played in ensuring peace during the recent highly tensed local government elections as the Ag chairman of the Bayelsa State Independent Electoral Commission BYSIEC.

The prestigious UN-POLAC Award ceremony which held at the Nigerian National Merit Award house this December recognised Chief Ogbe, as exemplified the qualities and responsibilities that qualifies for the esteem award.

However, Dr. Remember Ogbe has been appointed as international Peace Advocate , the appointment comes with commitment to ensue peace in Africa and the world. This also comes with several benefits.

In the same vain Dr. Ogbe was also awarded with a rear and highly placed accolade as Mayor of Peace (MP). He was among the few persons who received the valuable MP awards at the ceremony this year.

This award gives him diplomatic access to pursue peace and solve conflict around the world.

Responding to the award and appointment, Dr. Ogbe said it is a privilege to be recognised in well doing, he sees this as a task to further strengthen the message of peace for peace is the only ingredient for sustainable development
