The win means Man United are the first team in Premier League history to win four consecutive games by a margin of three plus goals (Man Utd 3-0 Sheffield United, Brighton 0-3 Man Utd, Man Utd 5-2 Bournemouth, Aston Villa 0-3 Man Utd).
Bruno Fernandes opened scoring for Man United on 27 minutes from the penalty spot before Mason Greenwood doubled their lead in the 45th minute.
And in the 58th minute Paul Pogba added the third goal for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side.
Man United stay in fifth position on 58 points but are now just one point behind Chelsea in fourth spot.
At Goodison Park, Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi featured in Everton’s 1-1 draw against Southampton.
However, Iwobi was replaced in the 46th minute by French defender Djibril Sidibe.
Southampton had the chance to take the lead on 28 minutes but James Ward-Prowse missed from the penalty spot.
In the 31st minute Danny Ings gave Southampton the lead before Richarlison equalised for Everton two minutes before the end of the first half.
In the Serie A, Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong was an unused substitute in Udinese’s 3-0 win at SPAL
Rodrigo De Paul (18th minute), Stefano Okaka (35th) and Kevin Lasagna (81st minute) were the scorers for Udinese.
The win move Udinese up to 14th on 35 points and they are now eight points clear from the relegation zone.
And in LaLiga Chidozie Awaziem was subbed on as relegation threatened Leganes held Eibar to a 0-0 away draw.
Awaziem’s Super Eagles and club teammate Kenneth Omeruo was not in action in the game which outcome did not do Leganes any favours in their quest to avoid relegation.
Awaziem was introduced with just one minutes left to play in the encounter.
With three games left in the league, Leganes remain in the relegation zone in 19th position on 29 points.
Their final three league games of the season are against Valencia, Athletic Bilbao and Real Madrid.
