Ebonyi APGA alleges political harlotry, lack of integrity by ex-assembly candidate, Elebe
By Adeleye Kunle
The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in Ebonyi State on Thursday berated its former House of Assembly candidate for Ohaukwu South Constituency, popularly known as Elebe, who defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of the forthcoming general election.
Track News gathered that the embattled ex-assembly candidate of APGA discontinued his ambition and defected to the APC, during a campaign visit of the gubernatorial candidate of APC, Mr. Francis Nwifuru, which took place in Ohaukwu LGA.
The leadership of APGA, however, accused the chieftain of lacking integrity and popularity to stand for election, stressing that he is known for his political harlotry lifestyle.
The leadership of the party made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki by the publicity secretary, Mr. Nwanchor Chibuike on Thursday.
The party, however, attributed the defection of its assembly candidate to hunger and poverty, alleging that Elebe is known for his inconsistency in the party.
The statement reads in part: “Elebe who has been inconsistent in all his ways was only inspired by the twin factors of hunger and poverty to take the solo walk of defecting to the APC, whereas the majority of his supporters and our party men have remained in APGA
