Ekong insists he’s fit for World Cup qualifiers
AFCON MVP William Ekong has insisted he is fit to play for the Super Eagles in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin.
Ekong was overlooked for the World Cup qualifiers even after he had assured coach Finidi George of his fitness.

Ekong restated his targets are to win the 2025 AFCON and qualify Nigeria to the 2026 World Cup.
