Election results: Tinubu wins in Jigawa

The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has won the presidential election in Jigawa State with a slim margin.
The Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, announced this on Monday morning at the INEC headquarters, Dutse, the state capital.
Announcing the presidential result, collation officer Prof. Arma Ya’u Jamisu Bichi said the presidential candidate of the ruling APC Bola Ahmed Tinubu, scored 421,390, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the NNPP scored 98,234, Atiku Abubakar of PDP got 386,587 and Peter Obi of the LP scored 1,889 votes.
He said the APC won the presidential election with a slim margin of 34,803 votes against the PDP in Jigawa.
He said the total number of votes cast is 954,805, valid votes are 92,531, and rejected votes are 34,274.
While the total number of registered voters are 2,341,041, out of which 961,670 were accredited
