Elections 2019: Teenage actress Regina Daniels gets appointment from Atiku Abubakar

– Teenage actress, Regina Daniels, has been appointed as the Youth Campaign Coordinator for Nollywood by presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar

– Regina claims that Atiku is youth friendly and would include young ones in his cabinet

The 2019 presidential election is upon us and most of the candidates are already taking steps to win the hearts of Nigerians before the D day.

In the past, a number of Nigerian celebrities joined politics as they contested for various posts. This time around, rather than contest for office, some entertainers have showed their support for other politicians even though some fans might not be pleased at their choice.

One major way to get votes is to appeal to the youths of the country and try to win them over. Teenage actress, Regina Daniels, has recently been appointed as a Youth Campaign Coordinator for presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

She took to her Instagram page to share the news as she claimed that Atiku is a youth friendly leader who has promised to make youths his cabinet members.

The movie star wrote: “I’m Regina Daniels. Proud to be 100% Atikulated with Atiku Abubakar who is in the race to become Nigeria’s next President. I accept my appointment as Youth Campaign Coordinator For Nollywood with humility and youthful zeal.

“Atiku is a youth-friendly leader who has assured that every 4 out of 10 of his cabinet will be a youth. The drift is brazen. The nation is at crossroads. The land bleeds from hunger and inertia. It’s time to steer the ship away from caput. From Bama to Bori, Aba to Abuja, kaura Namode to Kaduna, the sky is gloomy.

“Time for Nigerian Youths to join me and vote Atiku/Obi 2019 to protect our future.”

Since her announcement, a number of her fans took to the comment section to share their opinions. A few believe that she has been paid handsomely by Atiku while others feel she is too young to campaign for anybody seeing as her age has always been a subject of dispute.

A few others however congratulated her on the appointment and also warned her to tread carefully.

Meanwhile Tracknews.ng previously reported that Nollywood veteran actress, Shan George, took to her social media page to show support for presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. She also made sure to lambaste fans who were not in support of her choice.

She advised those criticising her choice of candidate for the 2019 presidential election to electrocute themselves if they are not satisfied with it.

George wrote: “Bad belle and high blood pressure wants to kill some people. Atiku/Obi is my choice; go and support your own candidate. There are so many other great candidates on ground to choose from, if you abuse my father here from now till next year it will not change anything.

“If it pains you so much please go and hug the transformer. Calling me names is not what would make your own candidate win. Receive sense and get #atikuobilated.”
