Elon Musk cancels Twitter employees’ vacation days.

After taking over as owner and CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk cancelled rest days for employees.
This week, a New York City business and economic news outlet reported that Twitter’s new CEO had removed “days of rest” from the company’s calendar.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, a monthly one-paid rest day was implemented to help reduce staff burnout.
The policy change indicates that Musk intends to raise the bar for Twitter.
Musk had previously disrupted one of Twitter’s “days of rest” before becoming the company’s owner and CEO.
According to Bloomberg, the new CEO intends to lay off roughly half of Twitter’s 7,500-person workforce, with impacted employees expected to learn their fate on Friday, November 5.
